We will be exploring the Yang Long Form as taught by Master Kai Ying Tung and his son Master Chen Wei Tung. This is the same form I have been teaching on the island for the past 7 years. All levels are welcome and encouraged to join. The setting is true to its name. We will be practicing on the front lawn at the old Paradise Farm on Third Beach Rd. in Middletown. Plant Spirit Journey at The Norman Bird Sanctuary Come join us as we journey within. Time and Place TBA $8 for members/ $10 non-members Plant Spirit Journeying brings us into a deeper connection with the land.We will journey to our power animals and then to an evergreen tree of the group's choosing. We will walk the land, find a tree to journey to, draw it, taste it, and come back inside to journey to it. Evergreen trees hold their vital forces through the cold of winter. To shamanic drumming we will journey to these benevolent beings.The beauty of journeying to Plant Spirits is that they speak to us in our own language. Come explore yet another way to deepen your relationship to yourself and nature here at our beloved Norman Bird Sanctuary. Ty Romijn has been journeying to Plant Spirits using shamanic drumming for the past 11 years, guiding Journeys for the past 7 yrs. During Acupuncture school, he began apprenticing with Marlo Brooks of Boulder, CO. Ty is a Licensed Acupuncturist in Colorado, as well as a Licensed Massage Therapist in Rhode Island.
